Anna’s primary practice areas include taxation, commercial transactions and litigation.  Anna has extensive experience as tax counsel to state and local governments and public institutions with respect to their public finance transactions and municipal bond offerings.  Anna has also counseled clients in various industries regarding the preparation of complex commercial agreements, service contracts, license agreements, purchase and sale agreements and non-disclosure agreements. Anna’s advice allows her clients to achieve a sufficient level of precision in order to minimize risks and secure their commercial interests. 

Currently, Anna’s practice focuses on advising international private investors on their US transactions and disputes, and she works with foreign counsel to coordinate cross border litigation, arbitration and mediation. 

Previously, Anna practiced with Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP in New York City.  Before that, Anna was Assistant General Counsel for the City of New York (Mayor’s Office), where she represented the Office of Housing Recovery in federal and state audits before the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Inspector General, and Office of the Comptroller for the City of New York.  Anna began her legal career as a Compliance Officer at JP Morgan Chase & Co. Anna has also acted as tax counsel for not-for-profit organizations and represented such organizations in audits before the Internal Revenue Service.
